For clarification, it's listed on Discount Laptops as Chembook 2371v with Asus Z71V in parenthesis. Or on the front page, just click #1 on the Recent Release list.

Aquamark: 36,584
3DMark05: 1548
3DMark03: 5134
3DMark01: 13,984

Asus Z71V w/nVidia Go Geforce 6600 128MB (Geared2Play.com numbers)

3dMark 2003 = 4436
3dMark 2005 = 1728

Benchmark & Figures OVERCLOCKED:

3dMark 2005 (290/573) = 2140

3dMark 2003 (275/563) = 5120
3dMark 2005 (275/563) = 2018

Asus Z71V w/nVidia Go Geforce 6600 128MB (olli3 numbers)

FYI...

The current OMEGA driver for nVidia is using a very old version of the nVidia driver. It is using Forceware 61.77, while the latest version from nVidia is 71.84. If you are planning to use a mod version of nVidia driver, you could use http://www.dhzeropoint.net/ which uses the 71.84 nVidia driver.

This "might" give you a little better performance in terms between the Omega Driver vs using DHZeroPoint, as the older driver from Omega might not have proper support for nVidia GO Geforce 6600.

By the way, they are working on a Tweak enhancement for the nVidia GO 6800 version as well

RecycledPaper is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
So I just finished updating Windows, with Service pack 2 and all of the recommended updates, and installing all of the software that came with the z71v. On this boot I installed some of the Asus apps, the Nero suite, and ASUSDVD. Now when I restart my computer I am getting an svchost error and windows is shutting it down. I am also no having problems connecting with the wireless connection (not sure if these problems are related). The wireless was working perfectly before and I was getting no svchost error. Could one of the programs I installed be causing these problems?
