yes, that's what I thought, but my friend's Ferrari has make these scores. and if you think that a turion 1.6 makes 51s, the score of the ferrari 4000 with a turion 2.0 is right! what kind of chipset have yours ferraris? I think it's the same.

I have excactly the same CPU, same RAM, same timings at that Italian guy. We get similar 3DMark05 score. But his ferrari apparently uses 20% less time for calculating of 1M superpi than mine does. Could other ferrari4000 owners please post their 1M superpi scores? (superpi is not malware as opposed to batteryeater 2.6 - that crashed my machine.)

Get superpi at http://superpi.radeonx.com

my PCMARK05 score was 2549... which is HIGHER than his score. That just doesn't make sense at all. It's impossible for his super-pi to be that much higher when my 3DMARK05 and PCMARK05 scores are both slightly higher.

his score in pcmark05 is 2590. this before to convert fyle system in ntfs and before to close all the application: he did make 38s in superpi, the after all 36s. I think his ferrari can make much more of 2600.
but ten second in superpi is very very much strange
bytheway, another guy has bought the ferrari here.. he'll make a 1M superpi, so we can understand what's happening

Quit talking about the NTFS conversion - that does nothing for the CPU scores!!

Can you get the BIOS version from the guy with the superpi 1M score 36 seconds?

Here you go, I have no idea what this program does.. nor have any idea what the numbers mean.

I downloaded, chose 1M digits and printscreened.

Forgot to close Opera, maybe I would've gotten better scores... I dunno.. let me know if you want another test.

Also ran a 3dmark05 and got 2337, dont really care much for these test. I love this notebook and I havent had a single problem running any games yet.
It's hella fast compared to my old Elitegroup 551

WLF46WLF - I have BIOS version 3A17. Don't know if the newer BIOS has an effect on superpi scores. I'll try to upgrade mine.

Drublic - Although I cannot see the final time for the superpi I believe your score is approximately the same as mine. Superpi 1M calculates pi (3.141592....) with an accuracy of 1 million decimals.

I don't know if those scores were because of the newer bios.. I've never heard a bios that gives that gap! I'm still waiting for other italian ferrari 4000 score..

Hi all,

I was reading another thread and saw a Ferrari 4000 without sse3 (Linux doesn't show sse3 as cpu flag) and in this thread there is a screenshot of cpu-z showing sse3 as cpu flag. I suspect some Turions on Ferraris lack sse3 instructions and others don't. Could you check in cpu-z if all your Turions really have sse3? The lack of sse3 can make that 10 seconds difference in super pi.
