I'm sorry for this misunderstanding, but I haven't tested the 3A19 bios on my own ferrari yet. I just copied your result, since I don't know where to obtain the 3A19 BIOS.

I have now tested the 3A21 BIOS. It gives exactly the same superpi 1M time as 3A17:
3A17 : 46.297s
3A21 : 46.606s

Think the italian guy have been overclocking or cheating to get down to 36s.

In fact in this superpi compilation http://www16.big.or.jp/~bunnywk/cgi-bin/superpi.cgi only AMD64 machines >2.4GHz gets down to 36 seconds. And these machines have much faster (dual?) ram.

danstar25, you got a good stock 3DMark05 with your Ferrari 4005, what is your setup? RAM, drivers etc?

Got the stock ram and ati 5.7's with dh ati mobility modder. Thats all really besides turning off the unneeded windows services. Does this thing have a better bios, one that you can actually change settings in or do they all suck?

I've had problems using ATI-tool on Ferrari 4005. It doesn't detect my frequencies correcltly (reports 0MHz for both core/mem). ATI Tray Tools works much better - but be careful not to use it when switching from AC<->DC since that causes the machine to crash!

Smile Atitool

I know your problem, i had the same issue, your primary X700 card is not selected, that's why.

Click on Settings, Under Overclocking, make sure Use Device is PCI-E Device 0x5653 Buis:1 Dev:0

Et Voila !!

Let me know what's the maximum core/mem it report after scanning.

Thanks

Updated Benchmarks

Here's my benchmarks. I ordered it today and expect it Friday. The FedEx truck is going 65 mph. Not sure about the Bus speed or whether it has Video or Audio. Hope it doesn't get in accident (Ram). I have no comments on Inputs or Outputs.

Benchmark Update: Methinks the "truck" is moving at 560 mph at 30,000 feet. Audio in armrest. Video in headrest.

Update: Good Winstone. It was on the left coast. Now on the right coast. Truck must be flying.

Isn't anyone happy for me?

Bought it from Buy.com. I have done a lot of business with them over the years and I've always been happy. Placed the order at about 3pm yesterday (Wednesday) and it was picked up that night. They showed it as out of stock but they actually had a few left. They have an affiliation with another site called Yub.com ("Buy" backwards) that gives you 3% back. Good deal. I then went on line and I found the Acer two year Extension Warranty and the Acer three year accidental damage (Total Notebook) warranty for $160 delivered. Securemart.com. Done deal. Everything should be here Friday or Monday. Now looking for extral power supply and battery. Also ordered some software for timely delivery!
