thanks for the update, I'm actually using Radeon Omega Drivers 2.6.53 (Catalyst 5.7).

3280! You cheated, probably posting a score form a PC! lol. Nice, I need to figure out how to squeeze the extra points out.

Post your results on the Online Result Browser and publish it. Then give us the link... I want to see if the drivers were using will reproduce this problem I have.

That was on gateways default windows install with AV and everything running too. All I did was update to the omegas and use the included utility to OC to 400/225. Post a compare link so I can compare your score. Also, did you click on my score to compare it?

I think that the reason for your lower score is the Omega version. I also got a decrease in my 3DMark01 score when I installed them(latest Omega based on the Catalyst 5.7). I'll also ask you to check the system info in 3DMark and see how much video ram it says you have.

I don't think it's the Omegas because I was using the latest ones for my benchmarking. My score went up with them.

The one on that's on the link you posted is not the latest. They released a new version 3 days ago.

yours is 6542, there's the 6553 now.

The ones I posted were direct from the site today, Drivers 2.6.53 ... I don't think u were talking to me tho. Anyway I can post the score, something about my registration key being from Lithuania and I'm not Lithuanian and my IP was recorded. I have the excel file so here is the link to it (unrar it) http://mindaugas.us/3dmark03-overclock.rar. I also have a 7200RPM drive, don't I get extra points for that?

Yeah... If you have the time, install the latest one and check how much video ram 3DMark will say you have.

This is interesting: When I had the older AMD driver, Omegas 6512 and Hyperion 4.56 I got 1042 on 3DMark05

I upgraded to the latest AMD Driver, Omega 6553, Hyperion 5.00 and I got 1157

I downgraded Hyperion to 4.56 and kept the latest Omega and AMD drivers and I got 1182!!!! That's awesome considering I've only changed the drivers.

Sure.....make me download winrar.

I think I found why yours is lower though. I had the same problem. Go into the power properties and set it to Home/Office Desk. The reason is that even when plugged in, if you have it set to Portable/Laptop the CPU runs at 800MHz and throttles up as necessary. I think the CPU throttles down between each test and for some reason (maybe it takes a few seconds to go back up?) it drops the score a little. If you set it to Home/Office Desk it will constantly run at full speed. Once I set it to Home/Office Desk my score went up some. I may be totally wrong but it's worth a shot.

Yeah give it a shot. I just noticed in your file there it said it was clocked at 800MHz so I figured that was it.
